Post by nieh »

I see them on MyRareGuitars a lot and right now they're buy one get one free. Anyone have any experience with them?

They're rebranded Joyo pedals.

Doesn't seem like there's anything special about them, it is a decent deal though. I wouldn't buy something just to buy it, though.

Good dealings with: benjuro, hatshirt(2), Eric!, insubordination, theavondon, skullservant, Ilikewater, GardenoftheDead, AndyTran, behndy, JerryTRCD, StopReferencing, philibis, jfrey, bob the robot, Noise..., space60y(x2), jskadiang, Ryan(2), Helter, mordecainyc, many more

I was bummed 'The Stooge' (aka Joyo Ultimate Octave) is a not-quite Foxx Tone Machine clone... Did the Stooges use a Tone Machine fuzz? $90 for two is @ what two Joyo's go for on ebay, right? Prob 'better' than a Dano? :idk:

I was chasing down a used stooge at one point because I thought it was a super fuzz but the demos were ooof very bad mess.

Yeah, a $40 cheap-sturdy Superfuzz or Fuzzrite with a stompable nasty octave up is a Joyo I'd buy. :thumb:

I always associated fuzzrites with The Stooges tone.
