I've been crushing on a Godin Kingpin. You could upgrade the p-90 to your pickup of choice and have amp or cab money leftover. But I don't know crap about archtops much less playing some sweet jazz on one.
I'd look at a Maton BB1200 if you're gonna drop that kind of coin! Mine replaced an ES335 and 339, far superior in build quality, playability, and looks (subjective of course). I prefer the size of the Maton too, not all huge like the 335s but not small either.
Honestly though, maybe spend less on the guitar and pick up another amp or a shit ton of new pedals. Or two guitars. Or three even...
The high-end Artcores that are natural flame maple body and floating pickup are no joke. First time I picked one up I thought it was some George Benson model (I've played some) and I wasn't disappointed. If I had the money at the time, I would have bought it. And I don't play jazz.

I'm a fan of the Gibson L5 CES, Super 400 CES or the plain old ES 175. of coarse the D'Angelico New Yorker is just a dream. That new Godin 5th Avenue looks pretty smooth but i've never played one.
i own a 1999 gibson l4 ces and a 2007 eastman t165sx. i'm not a jazz player...but i love jazz tone. i bought the gibson new for about 2200 12 years ago. i bought the eastman "new" last year for about 1300. although it's apples and oranges...the eastman is a fantastic instrument. it's extremely versatile, LIGHT and gorgeous! i highly recommend it. actually, since i bought it, i rarely take the gibson out of the house anymore...or out at all!
