Well dudes, I do think I know what I want to work on next.... but it ain't a phaser or a flanger or a decked out RRR! *ducks*
I gotta make the effects that I like the most, the stuff I want to play and enjoy playing and love the sounds of the most.. and for me, it's not phasers or flangers. Maybe one day I'll grow into that a bit more but for now, it would be an insincere pedal since I just don't go nuts for those sounds. There's no passion there!
The decked out Reverberator is still on hold since I don't know what Wavefront is doing with their converters and they're a big part of the circuit. Last month when I arranged the next round of mini-RRR pcbs I was told that this would be my last chance to purchase their converters but they don't have a replacement product yet. So next time around I'm probably going to have to change the circuit to use maybe the Cool Audio converter package and I think it'll be then that I can decide what to do about a decked out RRR. (Cause I'm thinking I can also use the Cool Audio reverb engine along with the Wavefront engine for a super decked out stereo reverb pedal)
Next up, I really want a delay back in our line. And I really don't want to use the PT2399 again. So I've been planning a stereo delay based around the V3205 and it'll also contain the CV controller and be able to control other pedals with tap and waveforms.
I also want to release a CV control box too.. it'll be a tap tempo CV controller with a few synced outputs and a choice of waveforms. You'll be able to plug it into the CC, the Trem, plus lots of pedals from other companies, and feed in a tap tempo waveform or a manually foot-controlled CV signal for manual sweeping of the CC, Trem, whatever. A digital computer that can be plugged into my analog pedals to give them a different kind of control.
I love this idea too and dream about making one one day but this is a serious effect right here.. the reason you don't see a lot of awesome clean pitch shifters is because of the level of software processing that you need to pull it off. It's a challenge for the best software engineers of the big guys. For a guy that took 3 months to figure out soft touch switching, this is a multi-year challenge.

Yeah Pete! I think it can basically follow the signal path of the new CC too, same ins and outs and filtering and I'm gonna compand it. *gets on soap box* All the best delays use companders! OK, I'm done.
I'm a little apprehensive about having to use the 5V V3205 chips but it's them or nothing nowadays. You ever messed around with them, Pete? PS - did you check out my new CC pcb in that other thread? Biggest smd build yet!

Yeah... you don't have much of a choice but to compand Analog Delay... but yeah!

Nooo, I always use a 8V2 Zener, some people don't like Shunt Regulators though but yeah 9V is cool with them, no regulators needed, well unless you count over voltage protection.
