LP with p90s is pretty cool, not really a tough choice when they're two totally different guitars and you want a certain thing (althought I'd always choose da jag).

Very true, those guitars couldn't be much further apart. Choice should be clear when dropping that kind of scratch.

I guess I'm a weirdo for having both a Jaguar and a Les Paul (and an SG).

although I absolutely hate the new cheap Gibsons with the icky finishes.

Right on. My main guitars are a LP Custom, Mustang Special, and Maton BB1200. Variety was my end goal and those three cover most any sound I'm after.
