Wanted some troubleshooting advice in case I fix the jacks and it still doesn't work. How do I know if it's the speakers7

There's not much to a cab so it's either the speakers or the jack pretty much. So some sort of mechanical failure of a jack, or someone plugged an amp they shouldn't have into it. Just be prepared for the fact you might have to replace the speakers before you take it. Looks a pretty awesome cab I gotta say though.

Worst case scenario is that both speakers are toast. Even if that is the case you got a decent deal going.
Hopefully you just got some corrosion or bad jacks or contacts.
If you find out the speakers are good I would go with new jacks and wire.
Good luck.

It's probably just a loose connection or broken jacks (how do both jacks break?). I'd think if the speakers were bad you'd still get some signal.

Although, if the speakers are in series, one being broken would prevent signal from getting to the other one. You know, like Christmas lights.

I'm leaning towards it being the speakers. Does the in/out of phase 9v test work with blown speakers? That cabinet looks like it's painted wood, not tolexed. $40 is a good price either way.

Yeah, just take a nine volt battery, and touch it to the leads of the speakers. You'll know if they work. And if they don't, fuck it, buy new ones, and boom, you still just fucking scored, fuck you, I hate you.
