OSAKA INVASION (Maruosa - Bogulta - Ove Naxx - Dj Scotch egg)
I thought that beeing in Paris there will be a decent crowd of people eager to hear these wonderfull japanese... I was wrong. Weird people like us are more rare than I thought. And only a handful of us were in da place.
That is too bad because Maruosa makes great noise and DJ Scotch egg worship game boys and pulls the most aggressive and funny breakcore out of them!

MY BLOODY VALENTINE (Zénith de Paris)
First and foremost, the sound was great!! (I was afraid to have a shitty sound in a big place like that)
The band started with well known song (sometimes and other loveless songs) and after a few of them, Kevin apologized because someone from the PA company had turn down the volume a little. I think nobody understood.
Gosh, they still rock the place! There was a lot of energy and they seemed at ease. It was powerful, solid, a long and intense earthquake. Their music takes all its meaning live, only then you can really feel how much noise is constitutive of the MBV sound. The guitars embraced us toughly and the drums punched us until our hearts were on the same frequency. Kevin Shield ain't much of a talker but the experience was so powerful, everybody was touched, as if that smashing mountain of noise had a point.
Final. At that point, the lobby against ear diseases lost against Kevin Sheild. At leat 10min of pure noise. It was like being run over by an army of giant diplodocus. The volume turned down and up a few times to finaly transcend and reach the higest level I have heard in my entire life. My eardrum were iremediably pushed inside my brain wenever I tried to breath in (I'm not kiding, I spend the end of show in a sort of apnea). Extase.
Definately something to see once (at least)!
