i went into this purchase a bit blind going merely on the words of a fellow ILF user's strong recommendation that i purchase something made by Matt. Let me tell you i am NOT disappointed. this pedal feels like stepping into a time machine. if youre sporting a standard les paul or a strat or SG or even a Jaguar this thing is a sonic rollercoaster that never drops. the tone control is so incredible it even produces really organic overdriven sounds when paired with single coils and the tone rolled back, or KILLER leads when you turn up the sustain. or a chunky 70s fuzz reminiscent of all those great led zeppelin tracks most accurately whole lotta love. it also handles open chords like a champ should, this thing does not become muddy. the louder you get the more tone you can feel. when you pair this with a quality over drive like an early OCD or tubescreamer it will continue to cut through the mix even better. i am glad i bought this pedal it is not something i ever see myself parting with. it makes sweet love to my 62 RI AVRI jag i cant wait to get my hands on more SUF pedals and matt is seriously the coolest guy in the world not only does he know his MUFF he also treats you like a pal and is easily the most PRO of all the smaller dealers ive purchased from. i also am lucky enough to own his green russian muff and son of a bee. both KILLER pedals. i dig em the jag digs em and the memory man digs em.
