Is this fuzz-pedal going to work?

Hi.
I just sketched out a schematic for some kind of fuzz pedal, but I don't know if it's any good... Please let me know what to change, or if my idea is total crap in general.
Greetings!

Does the last op amp need a reference to virtual ground? I think it might, but I'm not sure

I think you maybe on to something. What is your intent for that last stage? Do you want it to work as a comparator or a mixer?

@culturejam:
I don't think so- I mean I forgot do draw the +9V supply and the GND- and I forgot the Volume Pot. at the "out"-connector... I just don't have any software to simulate it right now because I'm on vacation...
I think it could work.. but as I said- I have no possibility to test it right now..
@FullCustom:
I want it to work as sort of a comparator... but I don't know if that's possible the way I imagine it ;D

You might end up with a cool crossover notch generator. Or the start of one. If you could make it clip either side of the waveform or do crossover notch that would be really cool. I was thinking of making a pedal to do that but it looks like your going to beat me to it. If you don't have it get the Douglas Self book on small signal.

What do you mean exactly? Any ideas of how the crossover notch or the clipping for each side would look like? Suggestions are very much appreciated! And what do you mean by beating you? It's not some sort of competition here.. if you want to-you can take the schematic and use/modify it to your needs... I mean as long as you let me know how I could improve it

Maybe we could work something out?

I have enough other things I'm working right now. Serious though the book that I mentioned has a whole chapter on biased clipper circuits and some really good dry British wit.

Yup, I preordered that book before it was available in the US. I paid $80 and I'd pay that for that book in a second. Changed my life bro. It's aimed at the collage text book market.

I'd like to see what you're building especially if its with transistors that you bought from me.

just ordered 5 fuzz face pcb's to go with the 5 pairs PNP I got from you. sick of perf. that extra NPN is the last piece to my super deluxe triangle muff with the pigeon fx mojo PCB and all the diodes on switches. I might add a tone bypass switch or change the stack to high low shelving, flat in the middle.

How about you do the muff with a shelving EQ, plus pre-EQ add a virtually earth summing mixer with an input to blend in a second fuzz of your choice. We'll call it the Gold Rose.

I just want to build a triangle to see what all the hype and money is about. I hate mid scoops.

I was thinking it would be cool to do a silver rose deal that was switchable between series and parallel. Call it the Golden Nose.
