Help me with pedalboards

I mistakenly made a deal with my girlfriend where I agreed that I wouldn't buy any more pedals until I buy a pedalboard. So I'd like everyone's opinion.

I'm consider the SKB PS-45. I'd definitely like to have a power strip, as I have to run my looper on a separate power supply from my other pedals. I also saw the PS-55, and didn't really see what the difference was besides the "pedal management system." Does anyone have any experience with this?

I'd prefer to find something that will come with a case and, as I mentioned, have power options. I'd also like something that I could find cheap on eBay.

For an idea of how much space I'm looking for, I have the following pedals:
Pitchblack tuner, TAFM, ODB-3, EHX Freeze, DD-3, Grand Orbiter, EQD Hummingbird, Sonic Stomp and a Boomerang 3. I'm also thinking about getting another delay and a Way Huge Ringworm (if they ever release it).

I could run keep the Boomerang on off the board, but again that's a general idea of how much space I'd like.

Pedaltrain Pt-2 or Pt-pro and a One spot power supply, it can power 8 pedals, and the PT-2 can hold ten boss sized pedals the Pt-2 can hold 16 I think, both can be bought with soft cases or flight cases. The powered pedalboards, in my opinion, are a waste of money to be honest, a one spot pack is $40 and a pt-2 is $120, a pt-pro is $150.

you could just go to the hardware store and buy: wood, velcro, 1 can of black spray paint and 2 powerstrips. then buy a small keyboard gig bag to carry it in.

for that amount of stuff a Pedaltrain 1 would be adequate; i moved my main board to one and have thirteen stomps and a volume pedal, though i squeeze them in tight (two banks of five with three small boxes set between the banks sideways). Musicians Friend is selling them for $119 with hard case as a promo deal, which is only $20 more than a PT Jr. with soft bag and about the same cost as a PT-2 with soft bag.

I usually move my pedals around maybe like once a month. I don't have any steady gigs at the moment, but I'm tired of taking them apart and setting them up. I'd also like to be able to put them away when I just have them in my room, and have them stay in place.

I may just look into building one, but I'd have to do some research into it. I suppose I could just put a power strip under a pedal train.

Do you live near an Ikea (or a computer)? The Gorm shelf unit makes a delightful pedalboard. That plus a package of industrial velcro and a surge protector is what I currently use as a pedalboard. It's light, cheap, and totally effective. And, if you're crafty, you can make it really incredibly nice, or WAAAAAAAY huge with some pedals elevated, etc. Plus, you could buy another Onespot unboxed from GC for cheap to use for your looper (I recently picked one up for $5).

I think I heard of someone making a pedalboard from a Gorm shelf. I'll have to look around. But that's a pretty good idea. I'll have to look into that.

And I already have a power supply for my looper. I also have a One-Spot. I would probably want to pick up another One-Spot for the amount of pedals I'd like to have, hence me wanting the power strip.

I just built a pedalboard out of a bamboo cutting board, a small piece of scrap wood, and a power strip... cheap, light, and solid.

However I like the suit idea.

+1 on the Ikea Gorm and OneSpot. I use a Stagg case that's about 20"x14". I do my best to keep my pedalboard to that size. It's good to set limitations sometimes. I have 3 fuzzhuggers, a DD5 and a Freeze powered by a single OneSpot on the top row and an M9 and my old QTron on the bottom. I can't find that case online for some reason even on their site.
