I know batteries are bad, bad, bad. But I've been reading up on circuit bending/hacking and a common piece of advice is to NEVER BEND/HACK ANYTHING THAT'S PLUGGED INTO THE WALL!
This, of course, scares me into using batteries-which I'd been trying to get out of-
SOOOOO...
Is there such a thing as a rechargeable 9Volt battery?
Thanks,
Brooks

meh. I touch 9v stuff all the itme when its plugged into the wall. The wall wart wont let anymore than 9.6v into the circuit, just liek a battery.

even if you're scared to work on it using an adapter (Even I'm too scared to do that, haha), you can still run on AC power once you get it all closed up. (So you're only using batteries while bending, and one battery should last you a good long while.
