Even if it got fixed right, I'd be hesitant to take on a guitar that was suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. Some things you just can't come back from.

he said it had a split in it and it was already broken. he could have glued it back on straight but the seem would be obvious. by doing what he did, he made it unique and found a clever way to hide the fact that its a broken body glued back together.
