I think he was powering it with a one spot.
I asked him about the pedal after the show. He said he was still figuring it out. He messed with the knobs a couple of times throughout.
Yeah, he used it on Angels and Demons. That was probably my favorite performance of the night. He would make some great crashing noises with the exposed springs on the back of his strat and he kept tuning down the bass notes and alternating between the tight treble strings and the floppy and floppier bass. It actually sounded a lot like the record but I wouldn't have expected that that's how he did it.
