Seems to have some interesting possibilities.

It's pretty good, I liked some Menatone stuff I had at the time better for similar sounds with a bit more versatility.

Which ones?

I used to have an 8 knob TBIAC which was a decent pedal....but too damned many knobs for an od.

At the time, I think I had a 7-knob Howie and a 7-knob Workingman's Blue that had a similar grind/feel to the SFT, but with a lot more options and a slightly more "amp-like" vibe (sorry). The 4-knob Workingman's Blue I had didn't sound like an SFT to me at all, and I don't think the 6-knob Howie I have now is all that SFT-like, but I like it more than the SFT. :idk: I'm not being terribly helpful here, um...the SFT sounds good, I think I just wanted it to be a bit more versatile, and had other stuff that I thought sounded better at the time.

The 8-knob TBIAC is a hell of a pedal, but I kind of hate independent boost circuits in overdrive units; I use them in conjunction with the OD too often. When I turn the OD off, the goddamn boost is still on and my signal is hella loud when I don't want it to be.

We did spend a lot of SFT development time working with guitar. I suspect it has a lot of possibilities for sure. :)
