E13 Test Pattern anyone?

Post by Wes Mantooth »

Never heard of this before I was pm'd by Robert about doing a demo/review on shoegazers, but this thing brings the noise :animal:

As far as I know Devi is planning on making more, but for the time being they are very scarce.

Well anyways, check it out!

Nice review/demos. It's interesting...I don't know where I'd use it but it's pretty cool.

Loved how he used it with the harmony synth, I don't know if I'd put it on my board, but I love hearing how people use it

She has an expanded version coming out with two gain/texture knobs for each PCB instead of one, and a chaos switch in addition to the gate switch. Can't wait to hear how that one sounds.

Thought I saw something about this, but didn't want to post anything I was unsure of.

It should sound

Yeah I was kind of digging this test pattern, but I really want to see how the expanded one sounds. I like the idea of have control over each PCB with a separate knob.

Am I reading it right that it's an SM+33 with a resistor swap/cap removal?
Wouldn't mind making myself one.
There are some that call me...morningstaru?

I believe you are right Gunna. I kind of like how all these little changes and combined circuits can do so many different things.

I'll be curious to see how the multi-control one works; i may have to get one of those as well.

The existing two knob one switch unit is still loads of fun, and part of that is the pure and utter simplicity of the thing. It's a hell of a noisemaking/fun wierd tool, and I thought it was time that somebody actually did a review with clips of these types of pedals in their really true home and environment.

Thanks again for the review!

There was a thread about this already.

The expanded version is for me. I'm very excited.

i would really like this thing if it weren't for the tickety tickety tick. or to put it another way, i find it frustrating because i like it but the tickety tickety tick is so irritating that it makes the box unuseable for me.

There's a switch for that...but that's basically what the pedal is all about.

Good demos!
