Back to Mode 7 (Dual PS-3 demo and shimmer shootout)

Post by Kayzer »

Back to 2008 when i sold both of my PS-3s and got a second Pitchfactor i regretted selling the PS-3s ever since... 3 years later i stumbled over 2 good deals for a PS-3 in a single week! Got the battered one for 64 bucks and the like new one with packing for 75 :p hehe

Now its time for videos from simple PS-3 action to dual PS-3 action to PS-3 into El Capistand and Dual PS-3 VS Pitchfactor (Crystals) and super delay (submode C)

enjoy!

Cool but wow, I have no idea how I would use those sounds.

mode 7 on one ps3 worked pretty damn nice in a sludge riff at the rehearsal earlier...

Would be nice to have a ps-3 next to my ps-2, but I still want so much gear

Does the PS-3 also do some kind of shimmer effect or is it just for 90ies pitch shifting?!

Well it can get pretty shimmering Mode7-style if I put it after a reverb (rv-3 in my case) in the octave-up setting. But it sounds different of course..

Loving the sounds in the dual demo! These are loads of fun in feedback loops too I bet (I know the Harmonist and the Super Shifter are...)
