So amazing. Teddy Roosevelt is my favorite president. He was such a bad-ass that he went from being a war hero to winning the Nobel Peace Prize, then some hXc trust-busting, then to creating the conservation movement, and then having the Teddy bear named after him all while kicking ass with serious authority. Like a boss. He probably did shoot a Saquatch at some point.

Teddy Roosevelt probably shot Sasquatch so hard that in comparison, he looked like a teddy bear.

Searching for that new sound.

I basically get the spare bedroom. My huge pedalboard fits under the futon. I've also got my bike stuff in there.
The rest of our apartment is full of art, since we're in a loft and have huge walls.. it's sort of art gallery-ish. Keep thinking I should put something on the walls in my music room. This may be it. We'll see what damage taxes (I'm a freelancer) does to my moneys.
I also want to build a 4-guitar stand, since the folded-up futon is currently the guitar stand. And maybe 2-3 of those Hercules guitar hangers for the walls.

Dry erase boards all over the walls. Seriously helps a lot when you're writing music. Good to be able to just look at the wall and see the song composition, chords you're thinking about incorporating, maybe a quick tab you jot down so you don't forget, etc.
Functional decoration. You could always draw all over them too.

+1
Chalkboard paint works well too.
We just used spray paint to tag the eff out of the walls and hung up a Misfits poster. It has bounced with me from band to band since middle school.
Yeah, I probably will do some whiteboards, using the shower board material. The other (not as cheap) way to make whiteboards is to buy a poster frame at Walmart and flip the insert around so it is white with the shiny clear plastic in front. If you can find a poster frame with glass (I haven't found one yet) even better, since hte plastic needs a really thorough cleaning every so often with 409 or similar; it seems to get some "scratches" in the surface from the whiteboard marker or something.
I'm a software developer by day, so I use a *lot* of whiteboards.
