also, from what I can tell, the what? is a sort of strange oscillating, ring mod, distortion creature
at certain settings, the oscillator(s) take(s) over
you can get a nice, choppy tremolo fuzz and control its speed
fuzz with ring mod over tones (depending on what you want) are possible
interesting frequency/filtery under tones on some settings
can do 'normal', trashy distortion when set to behave

definitely one of those pedals that feels 'alive'

random clips, noodling gets repetitive but shows off the different sounds the what is capablebleble of achieving
recorded with my digital camera! it was much bassier in person
too bassy for my small amps actually

Whoa, that sounds awesome. Kinda similar to an Antenna, but more resonant and less bitcrushed. Actually, it sounds kinda similar to the Resonator modes on my Space Station. Very cool. Thanks for the clips!
