The main difference between it and an ABY is when you have A on and switch B on it doesn't automatically switch A off and vice versa it also allows you to turn both A and B off completely. If not, I have heard good things about Radial and Lehle and I hope they true 'cuz they 'spensive.
There is a good chance my horrid rendering of a wiring diagram may cause more confusion than anything else. There are multiple ways this same idea can be brought to life, this is the way I chose using the parts on hand and it suits my needs. If clarification is needed let me know. Or if anyone wants to draw it up on one of those fancy softwares that's cool too.
