Bozz FZ-2
Anybody own one of these? anyone know if they're analog or digital? they sound pretty awesome, very fuzzy. I see them often on E-bay for around $150 and i always consider buying one. im not very impressed with the FZ-2 or the FZ-5. Just wondering what ILF thinks about them.

I've never played an FZ-2, but as far as I know, fuzz = analog (with the obvious exception of digital multi-effects pedals).

Had one, sold it. Sounds great but next to the Musket I'm using it just wasn't loud enough. Used it as a boost mainly in the end.

They're analogue, and I quite like them, I've thought about getting one for quite a bit. Decent range of sounds from what I remember when I tried one for a bit, bunch of heavy/trashy stuff, even some decent classic fuzz sounds.

Bitcrusher fuzzes can be digital. That is to say, the one I built years ago used matched Analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog chips, but I flipped some of the bits (changed which pins were connected to what) to get an octave up and down in addition to the neat bitcrusher sound.

The FZ-2 is a really great fuzz.
It does univox Superfuzz thing really well but definitely has its own sound to it.
also the clean boost is insane. you can really pump up the low end with that thing.
it is definitely not digital, it just uses opamps instead of transistors.
get one if you can find it, they are worth every penny.
