The Camel Sutra is an overdrive based on the Way Huge Red Llama. It's more than just a clone though. The controls are Gain, Tone, Midrange, and Volume. I've spent a lot of time tinkering with the base circuit and trying out different tone controls to make it more flexible with different guitars and amps. I ended up using a modified version of the Big Muff tone stack because it's very common sense to me. It's like a see-saw.. you can roll out the treble and increase the bass, or vice versa. The midrange control goes from a scoop to flat to boosted. Both are useful through their whole range.
