Forum rules
The DIY forum is for personal projects (things that are not for sale, not in production), info sharing, peer to peer assistance. No backdoor spamming (DIY posts that are actually advertisements for your business). No clones of in-production pedals. If you have concerns or questions, feel free to PM admin. Thanks so much!
If anyone who can etch their own PCB wants to try this project to build a verified working Neo-Classic 741 Overdrive (gray spec 250 clone) for yourself or a friend (non-commercial), I posted the same PCB transfer that I used at 300dpi in Adobe Acrobat format here:
Look under the PCB Transfer section for printing instructions and the download link. Even though I like to use PCB soldered pots for mounting purposes, you don't have to - just attach pot lug wires instead. But if you do like PCB mounted pots too, I recommend using a Hammond 1590B enclosure so my 1.2" shaft spacing fits the same as in my build picture. Just leave enough room from the top for the PCB inside! Panel cover art not included...
Have fun and enjoy.
