EHX Riddle Enigma/Q Balls

So one's designed for guitar and the other for bass... what makes them different? I think I'd like to try to mod my Enigma so that it sounds less like it's going whrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeiiiiaaaaaaa and more like it's going whhhoaaaaaaaaaarrrrrhhhhr. :lol:

Have you taken the back off? I'm pretty sure the new EHX stuff is an SMD nightmare and not worth modding.

Even their non-smd stuff is kinda terrible to mod. The traces come up if you look at it funny.

SMD isn't too bad if you're just changing one or two things and the parts aren't too small.

The Micro Synth pedals are literally different by one or two components, and they're marked on the board. :idk:

you just gotta have the smd rework tools. or at least a conical tip and smd tweezers. also, it may me easier to drill or clip parts off. like drilling the pads out instead so they wont lift up. there is a site for muff mods that goes into detail. I dont have the link though :idk:
