phantom octave stupid human trick

so I was feedbacking a contact mic today and I thought it needed more bass. I have $1000 filters but i grabbed the phantom octave. the result is this video

It's funny that you mentioned filters,then mentioned the PO. On the FH site,Tom says to use the PO first,or early in the chain. And while this makes the octave effect more prominent,placing the PO after another fuzz creates this unique,filtered,phased tone that's just chewy as hell. One of my fave tricks was running it after an Absynth(non-oscillating). Shit would zip all over the place :cool:

that sounds fking sick I have to try that. I should have bought that blemished green absynth for $90 :mad: now i feel retarded for not buying it when I do have monies.

Yeah,yo! Do it,you'll be glad you did. I miss mine,but it's only because I'm wanting an Algal Bloom that oscillates. Fucking bills... :grumpy:
