Just got my EHX SMMH. I got it here off the b/s/t.
I'm having a weird little issue with the volume sometimes dropping off dramatically when it's on and sometimes it's normal. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
I made a little loop while it was working perfectly and it was sweet! I've never had a looper before. This thing is awesome. I just need to sort this issue out and I'll be totally happy.
I think I've figured out the problem. It looks like it's the bypass switch on the right. Sometimes I'll click it on and there will be a huge volume dropoff. Then if push the switch like halfway down without clicking it it comes back up.
It's not really doing it anymore. And I just got a perfect loop :D
I'm using a one spot and I'm only powering the SMMH with it. My other pedals are on batteries.
Man. I am so in love with this thing. I just made a sweet loop and recorded it on the mic on my iPhone.
I don't know how to upload it or I would.
I love going to the 1 second echo mode and turning the delay and repeats all the down way and turning the mix and decay (reverb in this case) all the way up. I set the filter just below noon. All you can hear is the reverb and it sounds pretty sweet.
If someone knows how to upload voice memo recordings fill me in. Or if you REALLY want to hear it I guess I could message it straight from my phone. It's not amazing because I'm honestly not that great. But I dig it.
It's not my first delay but it feels like it. I love this thing!
I played around with the SHO a lot today and I fuckin love it. I pretty much just leave it on all the time. It sounds really good as a little boost and the extra clarity is awesome but when you crank it up all the way it's
I've been putting it after my Fuzz Factory and I love it.. I haven't tried it before the FF yet though. That might be pretty sweet.
Also when I'm recording loops, I just adjust the level of the SHO for each part to get the tracks mixed perfectly. It's really useful for that. So basically what I'm saying is you should definately build one.
How are you liking your new delay? (disaster transport??)
