Anyone want to fix some timings in a tab? Zelda OoT theme

Post by jfrey »

I listened to it, and watched how a bunch of people play it on youtube and I made a tab for it. I'm bad at getting everything timed correctly in GP though so it doesn't sound quite right.

Any takers?

You'll be an epic hero.

Just tell people to figure out the rhythm by ear. That's what literally 85% of the tabs I've read have dictated.

I could do that I guess, but the point of having it in Guitar Pro is that it can play. So since the timings are wrong it doesn't sound right when it plays.

Didn't realize you were using guitar pro. If I remember correctly you can do a live recording using your keyboard as an instrument. If you have a click you can just hit the same key and go back and fix the notes.

Bump. Still haven't done this. This seems difficult or tedious ^

Anyone want to try?

Zelda: Ocarina of Time theme???

I believe you mean Legend of Zelda theme. OOT was not the first Zelda game. Apart from 3D gameplay there isn't much that's different from previous games because they didn't need it. A Link to the Past was the greatest video game ever. [/unnecessaryfanboyism]

It needs a lot of work with the timings and all that. I tried to get it right when I first started, but after a while I tried to just get all the notes right and didn't worry about timings or anything.

Tab is here:

Ok. When I get home today I'll save it out as GP5 and re-post.

thanks! i'm working on it now. it seems like i can't layer notes of different value for some reason, but i'm sure there's a way to do it.
