I want to take a moment to correct something. The Velcroar half is great for leads that hunger for the kind of texture and character that makes your entire body cinch in ecstacy when you're peaking on a really clean and intense acid trip. I didn't previously give it the credit it deserves for its chord handling, and I apologize. The Algal Bloom, to me, offers more clarity, so in comparison I find it a bit more useful for chords in applications common to me. After really ringing out even some slightly complex chords on the Velcroar, I feel I've found a brand new beauty and sold it a little short.
The AlgRoar is the most versatile pedal I own, and the only one that has stayed in the pedalboard since I put it there, which gives me license to say it is my favorite, and a more fulfilling purchase than my $300 dollar Radial Plexitube, which is out of my pedalboard for the time being.

Tom was really the brain on the cascading design, and really the entire thing. I emailed him with a loose idea, and he made suggestions, and stayed in constant contact to make sure all the details were right. I can't stress enough how proper he is with customer service, on top of making severely rad gear at a generous price. I do buy from other builders, but nowhere near as much.
As far as the artwork goes, I got really lucky that Emily was not only willing to do the project, but excited!

Iphone 4, homey! If you don't have the Fourtrack app, you're missing out. I've recorded some stuff with the Pipe Amp that really sounds amazing. Also, the voice recorder app that is already there, probably on the 3g too, is great for on-the-fly idea grabbing. I used the built in chat camera for this vid, and the one I'll post soon for my Jaguar bass with built-in Phantom Octave. It's not as great video quality (the main camera shoots in HD), but I could tell what was on screen this way. Someone needs to develop a tripod for this thing! One more plug- the iMovie app is 4 or 5 bucks, and you can edit videos and add a soundtrack, as long as the music isn't protected. I highly recommend.
