without a clear photo it's hard to really nail it.
also keeping in mind it's 1985 in the video...

the first black thing is a wah, then there's a light green or light blue, pedal then white, then black, then black
or maybe there's only one black pedal at the end and the other's a d.i.?

my only guess's based off the colors would be a tube screamer(at the beginning) or a rat (at the end)

also if the bass player had longer hair, he'd so be murderface...

Proud of you Rubes. That man owns all other blues-rock, classic rock etc. players.

As for his tone.

As far as I know his guitar was always the same. A 62 strat modded with new p-ups and a 5 way switch. It is almost always in the bridge+middle position.

Then his early 70's albums and taste albums were into a Vox AC30 normal channel cranked and a treble booster (don't think it is a rangemaster)

These guys do a copy of it
    http://www.flynnamps.co.uk/hawk.html
but it is stupid expensive for a booster. I'm sure if you find the circuit someone on here could do it for a few tenners.

As for the fuzzy sound on this one. He started experimenting with amps and pedals. Orange, Marshall etc.

As far as I know 85' is

Strat bridge+middle

Marshall half stacks (plexis I think in this vid)

The good old treble booster and some DOD and Boss pedals. Wouldn't know which.

I wouldn't be surprised however if the fuzzy quality isn't simply the booster into a cranked marshall plexi.

Queri, dude, Rory's only second to hendrix in my book of electric rock/blues players.

Guess I should rephrase the question,

Does it sound go anyone else like q stereo set up with chorus and fuzz on one and fuzz or od on the other?

Octavia? or something like it? :idk: Anyway that sounds like a octave fuzz to me and a flange.
