I heard a rumor about the Zap Machine

I was doing some research into a certain fuzz pedal of yore and stumbled across a mention of the zap machine.
When fattone sent out their 10% off email this weekend I couldn't resist, so I ordered one

Anyone have one of these suckers? I saw a gutshot and I think I'm already in love.

The rumor is only slightly true. The idea of the zap machine was born from the shatterbox but it's not the same in any way. The shatterbox only looks good on paper (and in photos) but the sound is not so hot. The name is pretty much straight lifted from the zonk machine because that's the best name for a dirt box anyone has ever come up with I love the zap machine though, it's one of my favorite children. I wish he was more popular at school but you can't win 'em all.

I getcha. The name certainly makes a lot more sense now, not sure how I missed that when it first came out

We'll see if we can't boost his popularity any after I get my hands on the zap
