There was another band called The Laurels, from Providence, RI, USA at one point many years back. They did not sound like these magical down-under Laurels, though.

Yeah, they sound pretty good, would like to see them live, btw Ride have been a fave for way too long!

Nah, its just called The Factory, but to people in Melbourne it is quite suspicious, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was a venue that did actually produce homosexuals
