I was just wondering if anyone on here has ever built anything in a clear plastic enclosure? If so, what retailer would you recommend where I could find a decent, stompbox-worthy clear enclosure? Do you have to ground anything differently, or just make sure everything is well connected to each other?
Thanks!

Re: Clear Enclosures
Hammond do them but one problem is that the effect won't be shielded very well in a plastic enclosure (I presume clear will mean plastic) so it will be prone to interference.

Re: Clear Enclosures
Hammond makes them. You can just go to hammonds site and figure out which one you want and google for it.
They would be prone to noise, though. Maybe you can find a conductive coating to put inside. Surely you can find a clear one.

They break if you step on them.

I love the smell of solder in the morning.

I don't know about buying one, but I guess you can make one out of plexiglass that's pretty sturdy. Kip from The Pains of Being Pure at Heart has a muff and LPB2 that someone rehoused in a plexi case. They tour all the time, so I take that to show it holds up pretty well. Or at least he did last I saw.
