REFOCUSING

Post by blackout_kyle »

Hey guys - all apologies for the slow month on here. August is typically our vacation/fun time and we've been taking full advantage of it this year. Getting out of the shop whenever possible, visiting peeps around the country, etc. and all that means less time on the forums. This past week Ross and I had some mantime away from the wives and went hiking with 50lbs rucksacks and did some primitive camping out in Pisgah National Forest.

Anyway, its September now so time to get refocused...

Hey - if you can't have a little extra flex-time / vacation time, what's the point of having your own company?

Glad that the time off was good and that you survived the primitive camping without any Deliverance-style dueling banjos.

Looking forward to whatever the refocusing might bring (even if it's just more of the pedals we already know - the world needs every one you can churn out!)...

Sounds like an awesomely manly time

Summer seems to be the slow days for most builders.
We'll still be here playing every fuzz we can get our grubby hands on :thumb:

What's funny is we were probably the banjo-wielding ruffians in the eyes of all the pristine-condition North Face-ers and day hikers hanging out near the trailhead.

Did you guys find enlightenment while you were out in the wilderness? Did the spirits give you secrets to new pedal designs?
Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?

Current ILF Love: OHNOHO CHK CHK BOOM, Mellowtone Melx Fuzz 2, EQD Dream Crusher, Devi Ever ID, Dr. Scientist Proto-Miniberator - new vids eventually

Unfortunately not. My best ideas are usually toilet-born.

It's like that famous quote goes, "All work and no play make Homer something something."
