Hi,
I was just wondering if it is safe to power my amp and my pedals from the same powerstrip/surge protector, or if I should use two separate ones?
I currently have one of those 'hardware store' surge-protectors, with a big red on/off switch and about 8 or so outlets.

Re: Question about powering amp/pedals
I used to use the same outlet for both, and have always used the same powerstrip for both, as well as my keyboard.
Never once have I had an issue.

Re: Question about powering amp/pedals
it is better to have your pedals and amp powered of the same power point so you dont get a ground loop hum

Ok..so basically, pedals and amp on the same powerstrip is perfectly fine (and even recommended)?
