man, i fucking loved the melvins up until they hitched up with big business. dale crover is such a crazy drummer alone. i still haven't finished the new album, and i bought it the day it came out. i'm a huge fan of their late 90's and early 00's albums that that seemed more like the work of a very heavy and aggresive buttthole surfers. that was when kevin rutmanis of the cows joined in on bass, and the hostile ambient takeover album is maybe my favorite album by them. i've seen them live every year from 00' to 07' but kinda gave up after that cause i felt a little dissapointed. in 05' i saw them perform in eugene, oregon with jello biafra. that was one of the best.
