How you experience music

I wasn't sure whether this fit in Music or General Discussion, but I was just wondering if there is anyone else out there who feels as though they 'experience'
music differently than others? For example, certain songs that really 'speak to you' on a deeper level (or just music in general)
I thought this might be an interesting topic to delve into.

As for myself, I am mildly autistic (well..it's not truly autism, but a similar/related condition) that alters how I process/relate to sensory stimulus, such as sound, sight, etc, and really strengthens the musical/emotional connections that people would normally have.
I'm probably in the minority here..but just thought I'd bring up the topic.

I don't feel that I necessarily experience them differently than others, but I do have songs that I feel have a much deeper meaning to me and I experience them in a different way than other songs.

I get chills from certain songs. Some make me feel really strongly about things. I don't know.

I get chills too.

And sometimes I have such a strong response to music I consider beautiful or just "really, really, really good", my eyes involuntarily water a little.

Even with music that isn't "sad", and when I'm not saddened at all... It's often just the result an incredibly intense surge of ecstasy from the impact of certain music....... tears of joy?

Of course, some songs are all of the above and genuinely deeply moving in their own right... That's the music I mope and wallow and contemplate suicide to.

I've been listening to that kind of stuff all damn day.

I'm already a fruit, so it's not like I have much masculinity left to defend... It doesn't bother me to say that a lot of music makes me weep. And, frankly, it helps. It's therapeutic, you know? Especially when you strongly relate to a piece of utterly fucking sublime music. It can be completely overwhelming.

Even in indifference, I always tend to react powerfully to music.

I also get chills from certain songs, sometimes are unexplainable, songs in different styles that I don't usually listen to, have strange effects on me.

Heavily distorted Gabber beats make me wanna trash and throw myself into walls.
