point me in the right direction!

Post by sevenSHARPnine »

I'm looking for a vibrato pedal. I don't need anything crazy, just rate and depth. Something like the Malekko vibrato (which isn't entirely out of the question). My only deal with the Malekko is that it's not slow enough at minimum speed. I just want something that will give me some warm creeping modulation kind of the way a slightly warped record sounds.

I know a lot of chorus & vibe pedals have a vibrato option but I don't particularly like what I've tried because it just cuts out the dry signal thus creating a small delay between my playing and the sound coming from my amp, which bugs me.

Basically I love the sound at 5:06 in Bobby D's Haze video...

Affordability is always nice too!

Definitely wouldn't mind a Pitch Pirate if I could snag one for the right price! I had a Mind Warp for a little while, just didn't do it for me :idk:

Yeah, I had a MW too. Was way too muddy for me. PP on the other hand is so much fun, and I love the range of tones and the responsiveness of the controls. Great stuff.
