The worst shock i have ever received was from an improperly grounded Kustom 200. Sadly, it also wasn't very good sounding, but it had the CRAAAAAAAAAAAAZIEST reverb tank ever. Super sensitive, and reaaaaally cavernous.

The sparkle ones were the amp of choice for the Ramada Inn lounge acts.

Some of the guitar and bass amps sounded great others terrible.
The also made Kasino amps in plain tolex covering.

Their “power bottoms” had the power amp in the cabinet and a ss preamp to set on top,
Those were kick ass especially with a tube amp that had a pre amp out.

I LOVE my Kustom 250!! It's the bare-bones, no effects, 2-channel, straight up bass amplifier, but it sounds really sweet, and takes pedals better than most amps I've had occasion to play on. Nice snag!

Mine is just 2 15" speakers, and I LOVE it, sounds absolutely GIGANTIC...what sort of response are you looking to get out of it?? I also ran the head through a Marshall 4x10, and it had a sweet, chimey sound to it...it really does have a great clean sound, which is awesome for pedal lovers :thumb:

man ill bet that shit WHOMPS with 2x 15"s!! :hello:

im goin to use mine as a PA setup for live performancing. lookin for heavy tight lows, nice full mids and highs. a complete sounding range i suppose.

i'll be pluggin a few drum machines/mpc and a synth/gameboy/c64 prolly into it for live stuff hence the need for all ranges thats why im thinkin a stereo setup of maybe like some 12"s and tweeters and or horns or somethin....i dont really know too much about speaker cabs and all that. :animal:

the kustom is rated at 300 watts (150 per side i think?) cant go below 4 ohms.

My roommate recently went out of town for the weekend and surprised me with...a Kustom K200 a2 with 2x15 cab! The effects channel is currently not working but the other side does and the cab is sick. I think they were 16 ohms but couldn't find out for sure. The speakers are cts squarebacks dated for '68. My Univox1221 and the Kustom cab are about to be a match made in heaven
