Music rags

Post by thelonelyweeblo »

I was wondering what music magazines you all read. I've been a subscriber of Decibel for years, but I've been considering adding Guitar World and wondering if there were other music mags you would suggest.

Right on, man. I've actually read this before, but it's been a while back. I'll have to check it out again.

Subbed!

I used to read RollingStone in high school, but then it got shitty so I switched to Spin, but then it got shitty and I gave up trying.

I used to read Bass Player, but they discontinued it and started sending me Guitar World because that's exactly the same, right?

I too read Rolling Stone for a few years in high school, but then realized that they were pretty much the MTV of print. Sure, they have some music coverage, but they aren't talking music I had much interest in. It seems like they still have to cater to boomers.

sometimes I read Paste at my public library because I'm too cheap to subscribe to it. Seems cool though.

I used to read Guitar World and Guitar for the Practicing Musician on a regular basis and some others like Spin or Rolling Stone every once on a while, but nowadays I only read articles from here and thero on the web.

i buy guitarist mag here in the uk. i don't know why though because their reviews aren't very helpful and they always interview people like brad paisley who i'm not really interested in

this is the best magazine thing i read though http://www.factmag.com/
dunno if they do a paper version but their reviews are amazing and it's great for finding new music
