Guys who make your own cables... Get in here!

So what connectors do you guys use? I was looking at the Amphenol ones from redco, with the mogami cable for my patch cables and then just the standard neutrik straights for my synth cables and stuff.

Any feedback? I'm wanting something cheapish, and easy to work with.

I've used a lot of connectors in the day and IMHO G&H are the best. http://www.ghplugs.com/

I got all of my supplies from http://www.procablesnsound.com, which use G&H connectors. Work great.

I use Neutrik X series with Canare GS-6, and canare's "Mini mic cable" for patch cables (Now that they make GS-4, I'd probably use that instead).

That said, the last one I made, I used a 4 conductor mic cable because it was available in purple. It's just as flexible as GS-6, and I can't hear a difference. It could be used to make a stereo cable, too!

I get everything from Markertek.
