My fix'd fuzz was stolen =(

Post by jloh »

But I'm so gonna get a new one! Luckily the one that was stolen I got it second hand.

The fuzz really sounds amazing. From buzzy low fi sounds to kick ass wall of fuzz. The boost function is pretty useful. This will be my do it all gain pedal.

capital lameness.

make sure you get the remote detonator mod with your new one. that will fix a fuzz thief. :)
There is a character limit.

Dude, you totally need to find the guy that stole it and tear him a new one.
Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?

Thanks for the support guys. Wish I could track the thief down but I suspect it was a homeless person, or a kid..nothing much was taken from me, just a few random stuff - guitar cable, the fuzz, tuna cans, a dvd. My tv was still there, surprisingly. Looks like I have to save some pennies to get a new one. Being a student sucks :(

You should be able to track it down by the lid #. I'd just put an ad on CL and all the forums and keep tabs on eBay.

I'm in Melb Australia actually, so owning a fix'd fuzz will be somewhat rare. Unfortunately I can't remember the serial number! The seller also has no record of it. I only had it for a week or so actually. All I remember when I opened the back was a wavy design with blue and green colours on the back plate. Could be wrong though.

I'll probably suck it up and look for another one.

If you're curious to see if you can spot your serial number you can take a look through our lid art database, here:

If you don't see yours on that page follow the link to the full Flickr set.
