Fuzz IN a bass/guitar (or, help a brotha out, DIY guys!)

Post by theavondon »

I'm building a doubleneck bass/guitar, and the body is based off of a RD Artist. So, in the spirit of an RD Artist, I want a PCB inside the instrument, though, not one nearly as large as the original RD Artist. So, basically, I wanna put a fuzz pedal inside the motherfucker. But, I suck at the electrical assembly aspect of DIY. I'm more into woodworking. SO, I need two things:

1) Suggestions on what to put in. (I have my personal fuzz bases covered, so I'm just looking for something kinda crazy and unique.)

2) Someone to build it for me (with monetary reward, of course. PM me on that one, if you'd be down.)

Thanks errybody!

Try the simple fuzz circuit that CultureFuzz posted just below here... I built it over the weekend and am mounting it into a Mustang.

Well, huh. That seems too easy. I'd need like three. I'm leaning more towards batshit insane fuzz, considering I can't put together any pedal in the first place, thus making simple not part of my considerations. But, thanks! I'll have to keep that in mind. I enjoy what culturejam is doing around here.
