Wow, that's awesome! So stupid that in this day and age the only way to engage a wah is to have to depress it all the way and find that click to get it on, and that they don't come standard with an LED..... this is some forward thinking stuff....... plus the size is pretty cool too........

i had an Ibanez "weeping demon" wah that does a similar thing (the spring thing) and IMO it is a pretty decent wah for lead but not too impressive after all.
plus, it was way too big and heavy... ended up giving it to a friend before it was ever gigged.
this chi wah wah is pretty awesome just becoz of its size, and the sound seems okay too!

Re: tiny wah
Nice... and the price listed on their site is "Full RRP/MSRP and our online price will be USD $189 plus shipping." Doesn't seem too bad, though I haven't shopped around for wahs, uh, ever. So I'm not sure how competitive that actually is.
I'm more like a mids-ist than a bassist.

I bought a used Crybaby 535Q that I love and certainly don't see myself replacing but it is a cool little guy.....

have u ever used a morley wah? some of them only come on when u go to rock the pedal. so u dont have to worry about engaging it. tho i suppose that concept woulnt work for those w/ true bypass sensibilities.

Re: tiny wah
I used a weeping demon, morely bad horsie, and a crybaby from hell. Weeping demon didn't impress me, the crybaby lives up to its hype most of the time but i hate having to press it so hard to get it to click. The morley is amazing in that sense, other than the non true bypass thing...deal with it.

don't like that they reversed the expression, but I guess I could deal with it, for that sweet spring and small enclosure.

but the positioning of your foot is different too. toe down is still high q and toe up is still low q. you pivot on your heel like you have a wah under your foot and it works. it's a cool concept

Re: tiny wah
Looks like it still has that half a second or so lag between taking your foot off, and switching the wah off. Same exact problem with the Dunlop 105Q and other switchless wah's I've seen. Although its cool they have an LED. I always wondered why my Wilson Freaker is the first wah I've ever had that had an LED.

Made in Singapore! Who says we're too busy thinking up stuff to forbid or enforcing the laws or cleaning everything?
