just go to denmark street. Go in vintage and rare, and oogle over the pedal cabinet. This can be done for many days.

Not from London, but hopefully going there at the end of july. Well, really visitng friends and family in the Bolton/Manchester area but figured I'd swoop by London too. What places to go to? What shouldn't I miss. and yeah, before everyone gets all crazy about it I might just dissapoint yoou bingers right away. I don't drink. So apart from heaving alcohol into ones system. What should you do in london? I'm talking music/football/shop/whatever-wise?

if you're even the tiniest bit interested in art you should go to the tate modern. they always have some cool stuff there and sometimes have some interesting installations. like a while ago they had this installation by anish kapoor which had this giant 'train' of red wax that was slowly being pushed through a tunnel, every time it went through the tunnel a bit of the train scraped off. it was hypnotic

also you've got to see the full sized whaam!!, cause it's totally badass

i don't live in london so i can't help with all the cool little things that only londoners know about sadly

Re: anyone from london?
here's a post about some of the cool stuff they've had in tate modern turbine hall:

giant fucking slides that you can go down
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7667051.stm
one time they filled the hall with bunk beds to simulate a post apocalyptic vision of london, whilst snippets of dystopian films were projected on the wall and the sound of rain was constantly played.

that time they turned the ceiling into a giant artificial sun

the famous earthquake crack thing they did
in short: tate modern owns.
