So i've owned a Boss FZ-2 for years and I like the sound of mode 2, but i've never been a fan of dark bassy sounding fuzzes. I've modded handmade fuzzes before by changing the value of the caps to increase the high and mid range, but i've never attempted this on a more complex machine made circuit like the FZ-2. Would changing the capacitor value of the FZ-2 successfully change the tone to have more highs/mids and let more of the guitar sound through? I understand that the FZ-2 has 3 modes, so I'd either isolate the mode I want to mod, or simply change every capacitor.
