Whoa! That is amazing...

What does it say about my subconscious that I first saw an elk / goat head in the graphics?

Maybe this is the perfect Great Wall for a little pagan metal...

So does the V3 do the same sounds as the Great Wall Deluxe featured in this demo?

Or have there been tweaks to the circuit since then?

The Great Wall V3 doesn't have the Tone control that the GW Dlx has.

But the circuit's also been tweaked since then, for the V3 and the Dlx...there is a bit more low end response (no need for a bass mod here!), more fuzz (less smoothness, more fuzzzz), and a slightly different clipping arrangement.

True dat! I used the GW side of my PW for a whole rehearsal, no one could believe I wasn't using a blend do to how much lowedend PUNCH I had! Everyone loved the thing! Me in particular!

:yay: :) :)

Someone once told me that the GW was the only pedal they'd tried that put out as much bass as their $500 Ram's Head clone (Newark, maybe?). Anyway, glad to hear it's delivering. I'm psyched about the V3!

+1 :hello:
Another bass player from my now-project got one (the DLX version) to cover his heavy-heavy-metal tonez and... well, with his rig it sounds it's got LITERALLY tons of mass. And notice: tons of low end no matter no matter at what point the fuzz saturation is set to, which isn't too often the case. Just try out some serious drop tuning if You get to try out one.

And speaking of musical distortion saturation, uh-oh... :whateva: there's two foot switches and, well, there's well more than enough of that for MORE than two high gain distorto-fuzz boxes in there. But hey, that's just natural outcome with a fuzz and the three letters T, o, and m, as I have learned
