Don't worry!
Maybe the Seamachine (that I love) can do an approximative detuned tape emulation, I saw the Holowon tapesoup, but there are few infos and demoes about this pedal, and sounds very similar to my seamachine. I tried my old capistan on 100% wet and short delay time, medium-long feedback and modulation all the way up, but it sounded like shit...
So...
another pedal i wish existed:
EHX Memory Man Hazarai 2!!!

due to making a list of my disgusting mess of delays for chetmagongalo, if someone would make an actual tape echo pedal that wasn't gigantic and had tap tempo and momentary oscillation... i would shell out a small fortune for that...

I wish there were more pedals with the same feature set as the EHX DMMTT1100, but without the ugly graphics and high price. Something that had the bounce and fullness of the EHX, but again, without the high price.
I had this idea for a tremolo pedal as well I thought I'd post here: Two independent speeds selectable via a tap-tempo switch (hold it down to 'ramp' between speeds). One speed knob (the tap-tempo acts as the other), depth, volume, ramping knob that sets the speed of the sliding effect, a switch to take it from vintage tremolo to modern choppier sounds that work better with distortion, and a multiplier switch. Tap-tempo input/output, CV control for depth or speed.

Sorry that prices are what they are on some of these things but we who build pedals do actually have to get paid.
Some pedals can take 4+ hours to make (some all day if they're complex enough). So, unless you're going to be working for an extremely low wage or you have some kind of robot assembly line (way more expensive), complexity ends up in higher parts cost and more labor.
