Pedals you wish existed?

Post by echodeluxe »

What's is a pedal you wish was real? Is there a pedal idea out there you think is a no brained and you're surprised no one's made one yet?

Frequency modulated feedback loops. I think devi made one once back in the E13 days. But a feedback loop where the feedback "control" can be modulated. Hell modulating anything. Why do we not have fuzzes that have built in modulation for say... the texture of the fuzz, or gain? There is so much more you can do with modulation than chorus, tremolo, phaser, etc.

Or how about a starve pedal that modulate the voltage going to the pedal?

Stereo fuzz pedals. Have different controls for each output. Yeah its a niche thing that would be best used for recording, BUT IT SHOULD BE OUT THERE. Like you could record a stereo track and have fat fuzz on the right and thin on the left. FUCK MODULATE THAT SHIT TOO. Phase those two tones back and forth between left and right.

Basically ehat I am saying is I am too lazy to use an expression pedal. MODULATE IT FOR ME PLZ.

Interesting, very interesting. Modulating texture or saturation on a fuzz would be sick.

I've always wanted a Fuzz Factory with the stab knob being swept by an LFO. I think that would sound kickass.

Eh, for me that more modulated how glitchy it got, which is COOL, but I think just modulating like the tone or texture of a basically normal fuzz sound might sound really awesome.

You guys hardly represent a fair portion of the market. Interestingly, you guys are who I like making stuff fir. I hate having to dumb shit down in order to appeal to a wider audience.

I wish EQD made some of their stuff with stereo ins/outs. Or something. More stereo options in general.

Orpheum Sitar Fuzzz.

From the Sixties.

I've heard rumors of its existence, but no confirmed sightings/soundings. Possible vaporware.
