Spent last week getting to know the Molecular.

So far I've only had time to explore the first bank, which I basically filled with all the delay patches, while I left the second one for the other ones (mostly envelope & filter based).

Useless to say, it's an incredible machine, probably I'm so into it because it's the first time I deal with such kind of dsp based effect, and because i didn't expect it to be so user friendly.

I wish I could make some kind of video-review, and sooner or later I will, because writing down the sounds is quite impossible to me, but David videos are more complete than I could ever think.

Here are some really quick impressions:

Stretcholay - extremely musical, it sounds really nice kept just below the mix while messing around with chords.

Reversolay - I've spent one hour just messing around with the pitch control set on the 5th or 7th semitone occasionally looping random notes, yeeee

Particolay - i initially had to fight a bit with the envelope sensitivity, I reached a balance point and jammed with just clean guitar going harder or softer with picking dynamics. It makes the overall playing more dramatic, nice!

Ringolay - just your "usual" delay through ring mod, One of my favorites. Used the ring mod blend set not too high in the main mode and at the maximum value on the secondary footswitch throwing it in here and there.

Pitcholay - Nuts. I didn't expect it to be so usable, it also makes a good chorus-like sounds, and the tone control cuts the mix very well.

Glitcholay - played with this one just on a single loop with signal almost 100% wet, I lost myself somewhere in glitchland for half an hour.

Aliaserolay - need to spend some more time with it, basically used it as a delay with different voicing but "I want to go deeper".

Hold Aliaser - my other favorite so far. The "send dry to aliaser" control makes it easier to get an eternal reverbish sound that follows chords and notes automatically without having to freeze them by foot each time.

That's it, don't know if it could be useful for anyone but I'm making a "cheat sheet" to take notes for the different settings, once I made it I'm going to upload it here (tomorrow maybe).

Will make a similar review of the second bank in a few weeks.

wow thanks this makes me happy :!!!:
Especially glad that you found it user friendly. I'm always afraid that I'm making stuff that has too many options :)

To me this is really more user friendly than most eventide/strymon stuff.
I don't have a good relationship with digital programming on pedals, i like to mess with knobs :thumb:

Here attached the cheat sheets, if anybody needs them

my Molecular Disruptor is not working!!! I can’t get anything on bank 1 to work. None of the patches produce anything but a clean signal. Any help would be appreciated. Honestly I am disappointed in this pedal. It doesn’t work, it sucks. I spent $323 bucks for a pedal that is not working. I feel ripped off.
