El Vez just played here again (we almost went...but the only night we could go he was in Irvine).
My friend met him in the 1990s when he ran La Luz de Jesus Gallery in Wacko.

El Vez has keyboards though.

This was another band Dez from Black Flag had with Paul Roessler from the Screamers (the other keyboard player) and featured Kira (Paul's younger sister) before she joined Black flag or won an Oscar and Emmy (she isn't on this album).
