I thought the vocals on the last Moss album were really weird/bad

Fucking this. I have been listening to this band non fucking stop lately. So much sheer awesomeness in everything they have done so far. Power Hor is a killer album. Their 44 minute master piece entitled Forestelevision is a fucking rad record. Well worth the listen.

Very true. Ocean is another band that should probably be mentioned in here as well. They fit the "doom" bill better than Lesbian.

Other terrible doom names I've heard (these two recently) are Toner Low and Throw Me In the Crater

Ocean Chief perhaps? I guess their early stuff (The Oden Sessions, Tor) would appeal to the ones who like Conan.
