If a lawsuit goes down in the Oregon forest, does anyone hear? Does anyone care?
Maybe take this topic to the Devi forums for further analysis.

make more fuzz rather than spend time/resources on this crap...

You could learn quite a bit from this post here. Or handle it in a less childish way. While any lawyer will convince you the case is solid, it's simply a way for them to collect endless hourly fees slowly chipping away at this.

I'm also thinking a lawyer would prefer you don't go around public forums giving out details regarding the situation, even if you feel wronged. Try not to let those emotions take hold, seems to be a "problem area" for you in the past though.

I often wonder how people like this think of becoming actors. I mean I'm glad he did because that guy is awesome, but who looks like that and looks at themself in the mirror and thinks man I'm built for the silver screen.

I dunno.. I guess he's probly just really funny in real life and thought that would be a way to make a living out of it.

Haha, I've pondered this phenomena myself, makes you wonder.

Dude... Stephen Root is in a ton of stuff. Didn't you ever see him on "NewsRadio"? Hell of a funny prick. He's been in a lot of shit, and does a bunch of voices on animated shows.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Srs stop being suck a fucking JERK. Nobody cares how much you make. NOBODY. Well maybe JHS but NOBODY. Yeah you got ripped off and they were dicks about it, but i kindof think they may have honestly been diplomatic and apologetic about it in the beginning, as we all know how fucking good you are at winning people over...but then again i hate christians regardless so ill chose to believe you, HOWEVER, i honestly hope this has some negative outcome for you. Be it personally, financially, whatever. Since i joined the devi forum in the beginning youve done nothing but treat those around you like pieces of shit, i really hope you learn some fucking humility. Youve turned out to be a worthless, uninspired, ugly person. Inside and out. I have no sympathy for your situation at all. Please stay the fuck off our forum.
This message is most likely very old, so things said here probably don't apply to the current state of all things devi ever. As always, you can visit www.deviever.com for the latest on devi ever related projects.

I've a fairly blunt opinion on this, but here goes, for my €0.02.

Firstly, after reading devi's post on her own site, it's going to be difficult for me to take anyone seriously, when they can't even spell. Devi 1 - 0 JHS.
(ensure, not insure. If he wants to take out an insurance policy on Devi, awesome!)

Secondly, it is blatent plagiarism. Any court would agree.

Finally, I wouldn't really worry if I was Devi. Fact is, Devi Ever FX have a pretty good name for themselves/herself at the moment. Anyone I know who has half the brain capacity of a gnat when it comes to effects knows brands like DE, ZVex, E13, and other well known boutique companies. Who the fuck are JHS? Any of my friends, when they have the need for a loud crazy fuzz, instantly go to the DE site. So even if she looses 1% of her customers to these JHS fuckwits, everyone knows that it's not going to really matter. If they're going to get any sort of a name for themselves, it'll be for being plagiarising, thieving little shitstroms.

So the scoreline reads:

Devi Ever FX >9000 - 0 JHSFUCKWITS FX

Or what about this totally hypothetical sitch that nobody should ever do for any reason:

Buy a used JHS knockoff (allegedly) and hurl it through JHS' window. But fill it with poop first.

the thing i'm wondering at this point is...
devi, if you're rollin so deep why do you even give a fuck? it's not like they're undercutting your sales price-wise as the ass mess is more expensive than the hyperion. it seems like the main point you're concerned about is the fact that they wrote retailers that email and while it is an insanely pussy bitch move on their part, it also looks like a pretty cowardly worded email... if i were a retailer and i got that, i would probably decide to drop jhs unless they were REALLY selling well. on that subject too, didn't you decide to drop all of your retailers a few months ago and then decide to take them on again recently?? if i were a retailer, that would speak more to me than this jhs bullshit... :idk:

jhs are pussies and you made the internet aware of it. why not save your hard-earned money and move on? i seriously doubt you would win much... unless this is all about taking jhs down - in that case, perhaps it's another story.

Actually, it's not really the same thing. Devi has not, at any point, attempted to deny that the circuits that make up the Silver Rose are clones.

also one of those pedals on eBay costs as much as the clone of the two of them plus the eq, so despite the seemingly high price, its p much two old school "holy grail" pedals in one. and would you rather have that for $350, or pay upwards of $400 for a Super Fuzz and roughly the same for an IC Big Muff coming to a total of around $800?
,':{I> ... your move, Trebek.
